What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:
  • Setting up, operating, and monitoring highly complex converting machines to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and reporting mechanical or electrical issues, performing basic adjustments, and escalating maintenance concerns as needed.
  • Inspecting product output throughout the production process to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.
  • Accurately recording and maintaining production data in designated software systems.
  • Maintaining an organized and efficient work area, managing workflow to support smooth machine operation and production continuity.
  • Collaborating with production leadership to achieve performance objectives and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and special assignments as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bring 4–6 years of machine operation experience (preferred).
  • Possess basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Have previous experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility (preferred).
  • Can read, interpret, and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Are able to meet specific speed and productivity quotas.
  • Are physically able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements.
