MACHINE OPERATOR
MONDAY-FRIDAY, 3rd Shift (12AM-8AM)
SALARY: $17-18 hr OR Higher based on skill level.
PLUS 8% night shift bonus
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the mailing machine as well as leading the machine crew to ensure all customer mail schedules are met. Mail machine experience is a plus but not required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prepare mailing machine for job run.
  • Monitor and feed machine during job run.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and workflow transactions as they relate to mailing information.
  • Maintain inventory records of spare parts for the machine.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines.
  • Assist in the training of new hires within the area of responsibility.
  • Lead and direct crew to ensure timely and accurate completion of all job runs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Previous machine operating experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Mechanical ability and machine trouble shooting skills

Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Leadership experience

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to constantly stand and navigate the department and facility.
