Job Description
As a machine operator in the dyeing and finishing department you will operate complex machinery to dye and finish fabric used in many household and commercial products.  Reading, writing and following directions are critical in this position to process the material to customers’ specifications.  You will use motorized equipment to transport material from one area to the next.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Follow written and oral instructions from department leaders
  • Monitor and analyze processes to ensure machines are performing to specifications
  • Transport fabric and materials utilizing motorized equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine or material issues
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and perform scheduled cleans on equipment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. 
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Prior dyeing and finishing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and operate motorized equipment
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally with team members and management
  • Ability to work in an extremely hot climate
