Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  •          Operating forklift
  •          Setting up and preparing machinery for production run
  •          Ensuring product quality by performing inspection and monitoring process.
  •          Maintain clean and orderly work area and perform routing cleanup duties within shop
  •          Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  •          Crane, Hoist, and forklift operation.
  •           Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred, including Band Saw, Plasma and Flame CNC Cutting, Blanchard Grinding, and other steel processing Equipment
  •          Ability to always operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  •          Ability to accurately use measuring instruments and perform basic math operations
  •          Ability to communicate in English
  •          Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  •          Basic mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance skills
 
Education and Experience
  •          High School Diploma or GED
  •          Must demonstrate prior evidence of a commitment to safety
  •                   
Physical Demands
  • Light to Heavy Lifting. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to pick up bed height on a regular basis. Must be able to stand, sit, grip, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
