Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Demonstrate awareness and concern for the safety of self and others thru adherence of safety policies and procedures and maintainingย certifications for plant safety
  • Work in highly physical, dusty, fast paced work environment,ย lifting 50 poundsย frequently and at times lifting up to 80 poundsย 
  • Maintain consistent and on time attendance
  • Operate production equipment and adhere to quality procedures
  • Use/read hose specification & measuring equipment as required (micrometers, calipers and testing equipment)
  • Record and maintain production data in accordance with specifications and quality policies.
  • Assist in maintenance of tooling and equipment
  • Attention to detail, meeting and/or exceed quality standards in work
  • Identify and solve production problems to improve process and product flow
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
  • Actively participate in team meetings and activities
  • Value teamwork and demonstrate skills necessary to be an effective team member, working effectively with others in a highly committed small work team environment
  • Flexible and creative with enthusiasm for change and high commitment level
  • Required to learn and maintain multiple job certifications and perform a variety of tasks
  • Self-motivated/high energy with passion for quality workmanship

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • This position is assigned to the Banbury area, which is not air conditioned in theย summertime
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4 12 hour shifts (48 hours per week).ย  Weekly rotation between days/nights.
  • Starting Wage Per Hour:
    • $23.85
    • $24.93 when working nights 6pm to 6am & weekends 6am to 6pm
    • $26.01 when working weekends nights 6pm to 6am
Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLEย 

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Able to Lift 50 poundsย frequently and at times lifting up to 80 pounds
  • Able to pass pre-hire checks including a physical strength test prior to hireย 
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the futureย for this job opening
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
