Job description


Hamilton Connections is looking for a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in the Waterbury area. Previous Machine Operator experience required. This is a temp-to-perm position.
7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. , Monday-Friday, $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify In-Process Product Condition:
  1. Collect Samples during the production process.
  2. Conduct In-Process Inspections per the assigned control plan.
  3. Report any defect conditions observed to the Quality department for disposition.
  4. Comply policies, procedures and regulations.

  1. Maintain Production Line Operation:
  1. Loading of raw material stock
  2. Clean and Lubricate machine's components.
  3. Move production to the next operation and document those tasks as assigned.
  4. Ensure 6S is practices are conducted throughout the assigned area.

Non-essential Responsibilities:
  1. Performs other duties as directed.

Position Qualifications and Competency Statements:
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

Skills and Abilities:
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent.
  • Experience with deep draw and progressive manufacturing a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to use hand trucks and other equipment to aid in moving product to next operation.
  • Must be able to use and read calipers, micrometers, dial gages, etc. to ensure product meets customer's specifications.
