3rd shift Machine Operator

Location: Elgin, IL | On-Site
Job Summary:
Perform all manual procedures necessary to handle parts produced by the injection molding press. Maintain a safe, consistent, and quality conscious production cycle.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Remove parts from molding press as required.
  • Visually inspect parts as described on job order.
  • Delegate/trim, and package parts as described on job order.
  • Perform all required secondary operations as defined on the job order.
  • To be conscious of the safety, quality, and dependability of all equipment, products and fellow employees.
  • To operate the molding press in a safe, consistent manner.
  • Perform other duties as may be requested by the Floor Person or Foreman.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a safe, dependable, and quality manner within a manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Stand at a press and perform repetitive operations for extended periods of time without a reduction in pace.
  • Lift 25 lb. box 4 feet high.
  • Understand all equipment safety instructions. Use of bilingual floor person or inspector if needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
