About The Opportunity
The Apstar Operator is responsible for setting up, running, inspecting and maintaining the machine.
Essential Functions:
1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
2. Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation
3. Complete required quality inspections per customer specifications and paperwork - quality is the responsibility of all employees
4. Work with peers to improve quality and performance
5. Provide an active role in the housekeeping of the assigned area
6. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
7. Feed printed, labeled or plain corrugated sheets into the machine
8. Properly set up machine center for production runs
9. Perform minor repairs to cutting boards
10. Complete color checks using Color Sentry
11. Delegate responsibilities to the assistants & helpers
12. Input production numbers into BVP
13. Scan WIP tags and/or load tags
14. Perform quality process control data input & log
15. Perform minor repairs to cutting boards
16. Perform routine maintenance duties, which may include rotation of anvils
17. Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
