Operator Associate II|Covington, Georgia|Hiring Immediately

Compensation:

  • $22.72-$23.29 per hour

Available Shift:

  • 7pm-7am
  • 2-2-3 schedule

**Essential duties and responsibilities: **

  • Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
  • Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
  • Provide innovative solutions for production issues
  • Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
  • Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
  • Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
  • Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year manufacturing or industrial experience working with production equipment and proven mechanical ability.
  • Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.

Physical Requirements/Environmental/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to constantly stand, walk, use hands, and arms
  • Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  • Must frequently be able to bend at the waist/ hips
  • Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Constantly required reaching away from the body and frequently reaching overhead
  • Ability to keep up with a machine conveyor line
  • Able to work in differing temperatures
  • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
