Job Summary:

The Machine Operator operates production machinery following established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately and efficiently. May need a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager and works under the close direction of senior personnel. Has a moderate understanding of the job and may require 0-1 year of general work experience.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate assembly, pleating, or bandsaw machinery in adherence to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality standards

Prepare raw materials or sub-assemblies for the operation of the equipment

Execute work orders according to the production schedule

Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain clean throughout the shift

Swiftly move materials between workstations using pallet jacks or carts

Skillfully operate light machinery for cutting, assembling, or packing

Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively
