Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join a screw and fastener coating company. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in enhancing screws by applying protective coatings, adding colored paint for visibility, or incorporating nylon locks. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a union after the initial 90 days, with annual raises thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Review work orders to determine client specifications for screw alterations.
  • Set up and operate your assigned machine independently.
  • Conduct three quality checks every hour and document the results.
  • Apply protective coatings, colored paint, plastic caps, or nylon nuts to screws as required.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in machine operation and inspection.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude to manage complex machinery.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfortable working with adhesive, glue, and acetone smells.
