HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MACHINE OPERATOR IN CHICAGO, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating Horizontal pouch machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess experience operating a horizontal form fill machine and high-speed equipment, experience operating/calibrating and adjusting Mettler Toledo scale systems, and more listed below. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
  • Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
  • Determine the required materials, products, and resources needed.
  • Read and follow job orders.
  • Inspect the machine outputs for quality control.
  • Provide detailed reports and logs on the work done.
  • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
  • Housekeeping, sanitation and GMP compliance.
  • Keep up with safety requirements and maintain a safe work setting.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience operating a horizontal form fill machine and high-speed equipment.
  • Experience operating/calibrating and adjusting Mettler Toledo scale systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Analytical, technical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience as a Machine Operator.
  • Training and hands-on experience in safety techniques and requirements.
  • Training and hands-on experience with specific machinery.
  • Knowledge of various types of machinery operation.
  • Trained to handle measurement devices and tools.
  • Standing and walking entire shift.
  • Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools.
  • Climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, reaching.
  • Must be able to work in tight quarters and hard to reach area.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
