Job description


Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform machine, line set up/tear down, and changeover functions
2. Work with coworkers to achieve and maintain production goals
3. Ensure start up, break, and lunch sanitation procedures are preformed and satisfy GMP requirements
4. Monitor status of product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling issues
5. Monitor and verify that production is in compliance with specifications
6. Insure safety equipment is used, lockout/tagout procedures practiced, and job rotation procedures followed.
7. Insure tear down and dry cleanup is completed at end of shift.
8. Record and complete delay and production reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must understand and apply the concepts of the J-OTS Team Charter, Team Commitment, and Managing Principles
2. Good communication skills
3. Ability to work harmoniously with people
4. Willing to accept responsibility
5. Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical problems
6. Willing to accept challenges and deal positively with adversity
7. Lift up to 50 pounds
8. Work in cold environment, 32-40 degrees
9. Ability to become lockout/tagout trained
10. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and be able to communicate with management
