Location: Largo, FL
Shift & Pay Rates:
1st??Shift?(7am-3:30 pm)??$17.50/hr
2nd?Shift (3:24 PM-11:54?PM)?$19.20/hr
Job DescriptionPurpose:
As an Associate Machine Operator, you will produce parts that meet requirements using manual and/or automated equipment, following established procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate various manual and CNC machines already set up with defined processes
  • Follow written and verbal instructions; read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings (training provided)
  • Identify machining or manufacturing issues to ensure defect-free parts
  • Perform measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Learn and perform basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines
  • Maintain production rates established for each operation
  • Complete additional duties or special projects as assigned

Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic blueprint or mechanical drawing reading skills
  • Basic shop math understanding
  • Ability to operate production machinery and measuring equipment accurately
  • Strong attention to detail for quality and compliance

Work Experience
  • 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic metrology (calipers, micrometers) experience preferred
