Your Opportunity:
Taylor is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will prepare and operate printing press equipment while supporting quality, safety, production priorities, and equipment performance. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and experience operating equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Authorization:
To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
  • Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
  • Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
  • Check plates for correct format.
  • Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
  • Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize work to meet deadline changes and updates.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.

Your Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday | 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM

You Must Have:

  • Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong mechanical ability.
  • Good reading ability.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Ability to work with very close tolerances.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good color discernment.
