Rubbercraft is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 - Press Operator (LVL Cold) to support the production of precision molded rubber components used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. This role is responsible for operating molding presses, loading and unloading materials, performing visual inspections, maintaining product traceability, and following established manufacturing and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate molding presses according to the production schedule and department priorities.
- Load and unload materials and finished products from molds and tooling.
- Clean molds and tooling asrequired.
- Read, understand, and follow production routers and work instructions; complete required documentation.
- Perform visual in-process inspections to verify product quality.
- Maintainaccuratepart identification and traceability throughout production.
- Meet established production, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Identifyopportunities for process improvements using Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct monthly audits of expired materials when assigned.
- Cross-trainandassistin other production areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDrequired.
- 0–2 years of manufacturing or machine operator experience, preferably in a moldedproductsenvironment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment, press operation, and safety practices preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is aplus, butnotrequired.
- Ability tolift upto 70 pounds.
Training
- On-the-job training in department-specific procedures and work instructions.
- Annual refresher training on FOD, calibration, documentation control, and safety.
