Job description

Operate brake press to bend, punch, form metal sheets and plates at assigned station

Handle, stage, lift and align metal sheets or components into the press.

Follow machining template and drawing instructions to accurately determine materials, tooling, dimensions, and sequence of operations.

Input accurate programming data into controller to match job specifications

Perform safety checks and quality assessments on product and materials.

Maintain workstation with general preventative maintenance and housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.

Support other team members through collaboration and clear and concise communication skills.

Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.
 

Physical Requirements

Lift or carry up to 60lbs throughout the day.

Occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100lbs with assistance or mechanical aids.

Be comfortable with standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting and sitting throughout the day.

Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, metalworking, brake press, or production experience.

Highschool diploma or GED.

Willingness to learn and cross-train.
