Job description

Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Milton, WI, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? We’re looking to add experienced Heatset Web 2nd Press Operators to our team on every shift.

The 2nd Press Operator assists the Press Operator in running our heatset web presses.

In this position you will:

  • Pack and install plates and blankets according to company standards
  • Maintain each print unit, including, but not limited to, installing new rollers and maintaining good ink transfer within acceptable quality guidelines
  • Obtain color to color register
  • Assist the Press Operator with Inline and Inkjet make-ready and operation
  • Run the press when the Press Operator is absent or away from the press

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least one year of experience as a Lithographic Heatset Web 2nd Press Operator
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with inline finishing
  • Experience producing quality four color process pieces
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hours per shift
