Machine Operator (Equipment Operator I-A1/B1)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temporary

Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator (Equipment Operator I-A1/B1) to join our client’s team in Salt Lake City. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated assembly machines, ensuring high-quality assembly of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor simple automated assembly equipment
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and organized
  • Safely start equipment from power-off state and perform set-ups as needed
  • Interpret, troubleshoot, and resolve machine faults
  • Read and interpret equipment gauges and dials
  • Complete production records and necessary documentation with accuracy
  • Inspect products, weigh, count, package, and label finished goods
  • Demonstrate flexibility in learning and operating multiple machines
  • Follow all company safety protocols and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or satisfactory completion of an Employment Assessment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred
  • Ability to read and understand written procedures and documentation

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand throughout the entire shift
  • Capable of performing visual inspections (with or without magnification tools)
  • Repetitively move and lift objects up to 20 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a clean room environment
  • May use solvents, glue, or solder as needed
