Facility: Trenton Plants, Wheel Division
General Description
Specific Duties
• Follow all applicable environmental, health and safety rules and procedures and immediately report all dangerous situations, near-misses, and injuries.
• Participate in developing and updating risk assessments and review all applicable risk assessments annually.
• Safely operate a foot pedal operated the hydraulic press and as well as touchscreen automated presses.
• Safely operate the leak test machine.
• Safely lift wheels that range from 20-100 pounds with a team member.
• Box wheels for customer orders.
• Safely use manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Accurately record the proper information on Forms 120 & 127 (hardware sheets).
• Accurately read a print for the proper hardware for each wheel.
• Accurately read a print for the proper size box for direct customer shipments.
• Understand how internal routers are used.
• Accurately enter data into the current data collection system.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate well with other team members.

Qualifications
• Be flexible with working in other departments/plants when needed.
• Ability to read a print.
• Work well with other employees.
• Previous experience working in a production environment preferred.
• Basic computer/PC skills is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day.
Personal Protective Equipment
The following list of PPE is required while in the manufacturing area.
• Safety Glasses conforming to ANSI Z87.1 or higher
• Steel Toe Safety Shoes conforming to OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910
• Hearing protection conforming to OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910
