Job description

Summary: 

The Paxiom (WeighPack/JuanaRoll) Machine Operator conducts daily operations on the packaging equipment in the Processing Center. A major part of the Machine Operators job includes ensuring Quality Control by following SOP's for the production process while verifying finished products adhere to company and state standards. The Machine Operator is also responsible for cleaning equipment while adhering to all company policies and industry regulations.

Pay:$19.75 + benefits

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor.
•    Adhere to company mission statement and core values, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
•    Ensure that production work is performed following SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and MED regulations.
•    Accountable for paperwork, labeling, and product logging for accurate inventory control.
•    Measures ingredients and products accurately to meet optimal levels of production.
•    Help as needed with grinding and processing material for the machine.
•    Load and unload designated equipment.
•    Responsible for proper use and maintenance of designated equipment.
•    Help maintain supplies and monitor inventory levels within assigned process.
•    Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the assigned production areas.
•    Follow all company standards.
•    All other tasks and job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)
    Required Skills & Experience
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
    High-Level attention to detail.
  • Experience with Paxiom Machines including the Weighpack/JuanaRoll machines highly preferred.
     

Preferred Skills & Experience
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a shifting workload in a fast-paced environment.
•    Knowledge of Colorado cannabis laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous cannabis industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in Colorado licensed facilities.
•    Knowledge and experience operating the Vertek, Weighpack and JuanaRoll machine. (Not Required)
•    Cannabis industry experience preferred.Other Requirements
Physical Requirements
•    Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs
•    Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

•    Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise level

Travel Requirements
•    Occasionally requires local travel, as needed
