We are seeking a Workshop Machine Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities:
â—Ź Operate roll former machines and other assigned workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
â—Ź Review work orders, packing slips, measurements, and production instructions before starting.
â—Ź Confirm material type, size, quantity, and order requirements.
â—Ź Monitor machine performance and report issues to the Workshop Manager.
â—Ź Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects.
â—Ź Operate forklift equipment to move materials, finished products, and scrap.
â—Ź Load, unload, organize, and stage materials as needed.
â—Ź Organize, weigh, and dispose of scrap material properly.
â—Ź Deliver completed orders or materials to Arizona Steel locations as assigned.
â—Ź Keep the workshop, machines, tools, and production areas clean and organized.
â—Ź Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
â—Ź Previous machine operation, warehouse, steel, fabrication, or workshop experience preferred.
â—Ź Forklift experience is a plus.
â—Ź Basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn.
â—Ź Ability to read work orders, packing slips, measurements, and instructions.
â—Ź Strong attention to detail and quality.
â—Ź Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
â—Ź Able to work safely around machinery, forklifts, sharp materials, and heavy products.
â—Ź Able to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
● Valid driver’s license preferred.

Work Environment:
This position is performed in a workshop/production environment and may involve exposure to noise, dust, heat, moving equipment, sharp edges, and heavy materials. Personal protective equipment must be worn as required.
