Job description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for operates baling machine, preparing product for secondary markets generating revenues that contribute to the organizations mission.

  • Production and Quality Operations: Operates equipment effectively and efficiently.
  • Safety: Help contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers. 
  • Mission: Executes all job duties in a manner that promotes employment and quality participant experience.

Job Pay & Perks:

  • Pay Range: $13.85 - $19.91/hr
  • Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota prioritizes work-life balance. Weekend/holiday shifts are limited, and we offer competitive pay, flexible hours, a variety of benefit options and an employee discount.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, employees and customers

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interact with a very diverse population in a human-services setting.
  • Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • A typical full-time schedule is 35-40 hours per week and requires:
    • Open schedule availability including a combination of days, nights, and weekends, totaling at least 35 hours per week; and
    • Willingness and ability to be cross-trained, and to train in new employees.

Prior Experience & Education:

  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
