Job description

Summary: The Winder Operator is responsible for supplying empty tubes and bobbins to winding machines and removing fully wound packages to maintain continuous production flow. This role supports efficient operations by ensuring proper material handling, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate and maintain winding machinery in accordance with production requirements
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in yarn and finished products
  • Properly string yarn onto winder heads to ensure efficient operation
  • Replace full yarn packages with empty tubes to maintain continuous production
  • Accurately record production data and maintain required documentation
  • Keep a clean, organized, and orderly work area
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math proficiency required
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
