Auto Production Machine Operator

Location: Albertville, Alabama
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
Shift Requirement: Applicants must be available for 2nd shift. 1st shift employees will transition to 2nd shift once hired on by the company.
Pay Rate: $15.30-$18.10 per hour starting pay

The Albertville facility is a supplier for automotive manufacturing and produces door sashes and exhaust components for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, Alabama, supporting Honda, Toyota, and Acura product lines. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge manufacturing technology, high quality-control standards, and state-of-the-art products for the automotive industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery and equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent production output.
  • Inspect parts and finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform repetitive production tasks with attention to safety and accuracy.
  • Lift materials and components up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • Stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, production instructions, and quality requirements.
Shift Details
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime and weekends required at times. Shift could start as early as 5:00 a.m.
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., with shifts extending until 2:00 a.m. at times.
  • All 1st shift employees will transition to 2nd shift once hired on by the company.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

  • Perfect attendance is mandatory, with a 100% attendance expectation during the first 90 days.
