Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per Hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join a leading industrial manufacturing team in Rainsville, AL. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, building quality products, and learning new manufacturing skills in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you'll support the production of high-quality industrial products while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Operate coil winding equipment, including bench lathes, Bachi, Broomfield, and hand winders
  • Prepare transformer coils by bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires and lugs
  • Operate pneumatic and hydraulic crimping equipment
  • Operate robotic welding equipment
  • Mix and apply epoxy and silica sand during transformer potting operations
  • Safely move materials using lift-assist equipment
  • Participate in inventory counts and production support activities
  • Meet daily production and quality goals
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas following Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly wear required PPE
  • Perform additional manufacturing duties as production needs change
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documents
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn multiple production processes and adapt to changing priorities
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
  • Use lift-assist equipment for heavier materials
  • Perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday
  • Bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally work in confined spaces
  • Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
