Description:

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for dependable and motivated Production Associates – Packers to join our production team. In this role, you will help package finished products, ensure quality standards are met, and support daily production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements:
  • Pack products according to company specifications and customer requirements
  • Inspect products for quality and remove any items that do not meet standards
  • Ensure the correct labels are applied to cartons and verify label accuracy
  • Keep packaging equipment supplied with boxes and bag stock
  • Monitor and operate packaging equipment, including box erectors, label applicators, case sealers, and palletizers
  • Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and clearing minor jams
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and company policies
  • Assist with sanitation of production areas and equipment
  • Wrap pallets manually when required
  • Support production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or machine operator experience preferred
  • Food manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
