Machine Assistant OperatorFort Atkinson, WI
Our customer, located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is a growing company that is committed to providing excellent service to their customers while producing quality work. As a Machine Assistant Operator on 1st Shift, you will be responsible for assisting with machine setup, monitoring machine performance, ensuring product quality, and supporting the team to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Machine Assistant Operator:
  • Assist the machine operator with starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery to ensure efficient operation.
  • Monitor machine performance, identifying irregularities or malfunctions and assisting with troubleshooting.
  • Help prepare and set up machinery for production, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency and report defects to the machine operator.
  • Follow all safety protocols, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with operational standards.
 
Machine Assistant Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred but not required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
