Job Title: Machine Operator Pay: $23/hour | Second Shift, Monday-Thurs, 3:30 PM- 2 AM
Job Description Pay: $23/hour

The Machine Operator will operate multiple sheet metal machines and production processes simultaneously in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. This role involves loading and unloading machines, performing basic machine operation, and conducting general quality checks using prints and work instructions. The Machine Operator will also use a computer to access job instructions and support efficient, accurate production.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple sheet metal machines and production processes at the same time in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load materials and parts into machines according to work instructions and production requirements.
  • Start, stop, and control machines using buttons, controls, and panels as specified in procedures.
  • Remove finished or in-process parts from machines and place them in appropriate containers or packaging.
  • Perform general quality checks on parts as they come off the machine, using team prints and work instructions to verify accuracy.
  • Read and follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure correct dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
  • Use a computer to pull up and review job instructions, production orders, and related documentation.
  • Assist with general production and packaging tasks as needed to support overall output.
  • Handle sheet metal and related materials safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Use hand and power tools as required to support machine operation and basic production tasks.
  • Cross-train and work in multiple areas based on business needs to support team flexibility.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards while maintaining consistent productivity.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of sheet metal machine operating experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience following written work instructions.
  • At least 6 months of computer experience, including pulling up and reviewing job instructions.
  • At least 6 months of hand and power tool experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints for production and quality checks.
  • Experience in production, general production, or general labor environments.
  • Ability to perform basic quality checks and follow established procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to work in multiple areas and cross-train based on business needs.

Pay and Benefits
