Job description

Job Title: Production Equipment Operator – Food & Beverage Manufacturing Location: Atwater, California Type: 6-8 week Contract Compensation: $22-28/hr Work Model: Onsite – onsite Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor food processing equipment throughout the production process.
  • Prepare, cook, and process liquid concentrates according to established production procedures.
  • Operate centrifuge equipment and assist with transferring product between processing systems and kettles.
  • Monitor production parameters and make minor process adjustments ("process tuning") to maintain product quality and efficiency.
  • Accurately complete production records, batch documentation, and equipment logs.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, sanitation, and safety requirements.
  • Perform equipment inspections before, during, and after production runs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment preferred.
  • Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, or industrial manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting production activities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
