Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Clutter team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of turret forklifts and scanning equipment to keep our inventory moving accurately.

Clutter, now seamlessly integrated with Iron Mountain, is disrupting the self-storage and moving industries by offering affordable, flexible, and dependable service nationwide, driven by cutting-edge technology.

  • Schedule: Clutter operates 7 days a week and schedules will vary weekly depending on business needs. Weekend availability is required.

  • Pay Rate: $21.30 per hour paid bi-weekly

    DAY SHIFT hours only 9am - 5:30pm

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Operate turret forklift to collect, load, and put away warehouse items

  • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory

  • Adhere to quality and safety standards set forth by the company

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits as required

  • Pick and stage pallets to be onboarded

  • Turret Forklift Operators will inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment

  • Load and unload Clutter trucks in a fast-paced warehouse setting

  • Move, wrap, and palletize customer items

  • Scan and organize customer items using our self-built mobile app

  • As a Warehouse Associate you will complete other warehouse projects as needed

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Expertise: 3+ years of experience operating powered forklifts with a strong understanding of various material-handling equipment.

  • Physical Capability: Proven ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and remain on your feet and active for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort using smartphone software and technology to track and manage data during the workday.

  • Safety First Mindset: Must be at least 18 years of age with a high regard for workplace safety OSHA standards.
