Job description

Machine operator 2nd shift :

Hours : 215PM - 1245AM

Monday- Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and start production and packaging machines according to operating procedures.
  • Load raw materials and packaging materials into the equipment.
  • Monitor machine operation, production flow, speed, temperature, and other operating settings.
  • Make routine adjustments to maintain consistent production and product quality.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, correct labeling, proper packaging, and quality requirements.
  • Stop, reset, or clear machines when jams or minor operating problems occur.
  • Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with machine changeovers and product changeovers.
  • Record production quantities, rejected products, downtime, and machine issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, quality standards, and production instructions.
  • Report equipment faults, safety concerns, and quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Work effectively with production, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
