PM Shift 4 PM - 2:30 AM

Biovation Labs is looking for a Tablet Press and Coating Operator to join our team. A Tablet Press and Coating Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining tablet compression and coating equipment used in the production of supplements. This role ensures that tablets are compressed to precise weight, size, and hardness specifications, followed by uniform coating application to enhance stability, appearance, and bioavailability. The operator must adhere to batch records, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while conducting in-process quality checks and troubleshooting equipment issues. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols are essential for ensuring product consistency and compliance with industry regulations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Properly executes the proper set-up and operation of standard nutraceutical equipment such as granulators, blenders, mills, tablet coaters and presses. Experience focused on Coating.
  • Identifies and stages all raw material according to batch documentation.
  • Ensures proper cleanliness and assembly of all manufacturing equipment per the approved SOP.
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment at all times and notifies supervisor immediately of any safety concerns, accidents or injuries are observed.
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of all equipment logs and documentation.
  • Understands and adheres to all cGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Identifies and reports any quality issues to supervisor or quality department.
  • Understands and adheres to all Company policies, procedures, SOPs, and Safety regulations.
  • Willingness to cross train and assist in other manufacturing departments when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years operator experience or previous experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP or FDA) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years in the Nutraceutical manufacturing industry
  • Experience in GMP environment (Preferably in nutraceutical Industry)
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Strong work ethic, professional approach, and ownership of lines production performance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend SOP’s, Batch Records, and training documents Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and develop new skills is a requirement.
  • Team player; works well with others.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical requirements may include: lifting up to 50lbs., standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs, working from heights, following safety rules.
