Industrial Maintenance Technician II - Weekend 2nd Shift

Friday - Sunday Work Schedule 

Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians provide services to ensure that equipment, machinery, and facilities are kept in optimal condition to prevent breakdowns, minimize downtime, extend their lifespan, and ensure safe and efficient operation. They are responsible for safely and effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining operations and production equipment at a pace that meets production demands. All Maintenance positions support operations and production.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welders to perform preventative maintenance and moderately complex repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
  • Ensure all repairs are documented in the CMM's.
  • Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program and hearing and eye protection policies.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and participate in reviewing safety prior to it going live.
  • Assist the machine operators with training and moderately complex troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

Required Experience

  • Work Experience: 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Computer Skills: PLC’s, CMM's, Microsoft Office   

Preferred Experience

  • Concrete - Experience pouring and finishing concrete
  • Basic Fabrication - Ability to weld or experience with basic metal fabrication
  • Overhead Doors - Experience diagnosing/resolving issues with overhead doors
  • Rigging - Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom
  • Multimeter - Experience with a meter or other electrical test equipment
  • Repair - Education/Experience with machine operation and repair
  • Mechanical - Experience with servicing pneumatic compressors
  • Conveyors - Experience servicing overhead conveyor systems
  • Coating - Experience servicing coating or blasting systems
  • Programmable Logic Control - Education/Experience servicing programmable logic systems
