Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: West Chicago, IL 60185 (Please note: Job site is not in Chicago. Please reference the ZIP code for distance.)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
We are looking for reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our team! This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values safety, teamwork, and quality. You'll support machine operations, maintain production flow, and help ensure products meet company standards.
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • Overtime as needed
  • $18.00/hour
2nd Shift
  • Monday–Friday: 3:15 PM–11:45 PM
  • Overtime as needed
  • $18.00/hour + $0.75/hour shift differential (Effective pay: $18.75/hour)
Machine Operator Responsibilities
  • Position panels on the machine table, ensuring they are flush and aligned with tooling holes
  • Start machine operations and remove boards at the end of each cycle
  • Inspect processed parts using templates
  • Check tool sizes and reset or replace tools as needed
  • Retrieve, store, and mark drills that require re-sharpening
  • Notify the supervisor of equipment or operating issues
  • Maintain quality and production standards
Requirements
  • Previous machine operating experience required
  • Able to stand for extended periods in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
