CNC Machine Operator: Seward, Illinois
Our customer in Seward, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detailoriented individual to join their team as a CNC Machine Operator to work fulltime on 1st shift. As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll help support daily production by operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality standards are met in a wellorganized manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to prints and job specifications.
  • Load raw materials and parts into machines and monitor production cycles.
  • Perform firstpiece inspections and submit parts to Quality for approval.
  • Inspect finished parts using basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor machines during operation and make minor adjustments as needed.
  • Follow job traveler instructions and track completed work.
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
 
CNC Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must have CNC experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
  • Comfortable using basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
