Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a hands-on Machine Operator to run a paper converting machine and undertake responsibility for quality assurance of the products manufactured. You will be a vital team contributor to the success of timely order completion, order quality, and achieving team targets. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

● Hands-on machine operator

● Leading the line team

● Assisting other team members as needed on the line

● Assisting Maintenance with equipment set up, changeovers and adjustments

● Testing quality of products

● Becoming fully cross-trained and demonstrating proficiency on each machine

● Performing routine maintenance on machines and/or assist Maintenance Technicians

Requirements/Qualifications

● Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)

● Machine Operator: 2 years (Required)

● Ability to read a ruler (Required)

● Ability to legibly and accurately fill out production reports

● Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

● Ability to constantly stand

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

● Occasional bending, kneeling, or entry into enclosed spaces

● Strong team communication skills

● Adherence to health and safety regulations
