Job description

Position: Entertainment Intern
Department: Entertainment
Reports to: Entertainment Manager
Status: Intern (Non- Exempt)
Duration: June 2026 - May 2027
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assisting in day-to-day functions of game day entertainment, cheerleader, mascot, drumline, and fan patrol programs.
  • Working closely with Entertainment Manager on planning and execution of game day elements
  • Assisting with special events such as, but not limited to: Training Camp, Draft Party, Roadshows, FanFest, Tree Lighting, College football and Charlotte FC.
  • Correspondence and coordination of entertainment groups involved with the game day experience
  • Assisting with mascot, cheerleader, and drumline's year-round events and programming
  • Assisting with community appearances as needed (which may include the operation of a company vehicle)
  • Assisting with responses to fan inquiries
  • Maintaining department databases/equipment/storage facilities
  • Researching new opportunities and input in the design of new marketing strategies for department
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have an interest in sports marketing, advertising, and/or fan appreciation programming
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Carolina Panthers and Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to operate company vehicles for transportation to and from local events and Panther appearances
  • Must pass pre-employment screens

Work Environment
This job operates mostly in an office environment and outside in a stadium facility (at times which may include inclement weather conditions). Job may require local travel to events and appearances. This position typically works approximately 40 hours per week.
