Summary of the Role You Are Applying For:

As a Machine Setup/Adjuster Operator, you will set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches, or reams metal and/or plastic parts. You will perform adjustments to adhere to established specifications. You will monitor work to ensure that the machine is not malfunctioning, making general decisions as to quality, tolerance, and operation sequence according to Wood-Mizer standards.

  • Operate CNC axis machines.
  • Read the blueprint and fabricate the part per print specifications.
  • Inspect own production frequently using proper gauges or measuring instruments.
  • Meet production goals.
  • Able to set up/operate/edit programs on multiple machines in fabrication.
  • Ability to retain learned knowledge.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Clean the work area daily.
