Job description

Hiring Machine operators - Pay range $20 - $28/hour in Cambridge, MN.

Pay & Shift :

  • All shifts are available
  • 2 & 3rd shift - with Shift differentials up to +$3/hour
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Fridays are Overtime

Responsibilities :

  • Operate CNC machines in a manufacturing environment to produce parts according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Load raw materials into CNC machines safely and efficiently, ensuring correct setup for each production run.
  • Monitor machine operations, including automatic machines with robotic arms, and respond promptly to any issues or alarms.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other hand measurement tools to inspect parts as they come off the machine and verify they meet quality requirements.
  • Perform basic quality inspections and document results as needed to support production and quality control processes.
  • Read and follow basic work instructions, production documents, and machine interface prompts to ensure accurate and consistent output.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong interest in learning CNC machines and manufacturing processes, demonstrated through curiosity, thoughtful questions, and motivation to grow.
  • At least 6+ months of experience in a role that requires mechanical inclination, such as lube technician, construction, shop class, or similar hands-on work.
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience with machine operation.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate CNC machines.
  • Capability to read and follow basic work instructions and production documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
