Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

This entry-level role involves operating metal stamping machines in a large, air-conditioned metal manufacturing shop. You will work hands-on with sheet metal, perform basic visual inspections of parts, and support other departments as needed. The position requires comfort working around larger industrial machines, consistent lifting, and standing throughout the shift while following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate metal stamping machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Handle sheet metal components throughout the production process.
  • Perform basic visual quality checks on stamped parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Monitor machines during operation and promptly report any issues or irregularities.
  • Follow all safety instructions and use required safety equipment at all times.
  • Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Stand for the duration of the shift while operating machines and performing inspections.
  • Assist in other departments and support various production tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits
