What you'll be doing


The Senior Manager, Credit Cards Analytics & Insights will be a leading contributor on the AI, Data and Analytics (AIDA) team supporting the Credit Cards business within Personal and Business Banking. The AI, Data and Analytics team focuses on creating next-generation analytics assets to enable data-driven decision-making for partners in Product, Marketing, Client Segments and Strategy. In this role, you will lead analytics engagements to evaluate client behaviours and optimize business decisions related to product, campaigns, pricing, and other business areas. You will drive innovation through advanced AI and machine learning solutions, translating cutting-edge technology into tangible business value and measurable outcomes. You will present insights and make data-driven recommendations to senior leaders to help identify opportunities to grow the business and better serve our clients.

How you'll succeed

  • Innovation & Value Realization - Champion a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing transformative AI and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value. Proactively seek opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to create competitive advantages, optimize client experiences, and drive revenue growth. Translate complex analytical initiatives into quantifiable business outcomes, demonstrating clear ROI and value realization across all engagements.
  • Consultant - Be a leader and subject matter expert in Credit Cards. Integrate deep domain knowledge with analytical capabilities to deliver value to stakeholders, enable data-driven decision-making, and proactively identify opportunities to drive business growth through projects and business cases, acquisition and retention campaigns, pricing, channels, segments, products, and process enhancements.
  • Analytics - Independently identify and leverage the right statistical techniques, including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, to extract actionable insights from client behaviours and business trends, both internal and external. Apply advanced machine learning algorithms and AI-driven methodologies to uncover hidden patterns and predict future trends with precision. Appropriately integrate big data, business intelligence, visualization, self-service, and analytical tools into engagements. Proactively explore new applications of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to innovate and build strategic analytics assets that create sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Technology - Leverage big data and analytical tools to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, build data pipelines, and create visualizations from multiple data sources. Implement and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions using modern MLOps practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement of analytical assets.
  • Ownership - Orchestrate end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and contribute to business success. Think and act like an owner in analytics initiatives, ensuring business needs are properly identified and translated into analytics requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on value creation and measurable business impact.
  • Communication - Find the story in the data and communicate at varying levels of detail for the right audience. Articulate the business value and innovation potential of AI and machine learning initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building enthusiasm and support for transformative change.

Who you are

  • You have relevant education and expertise. You have a degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, physics, or business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree, such as a Master of Management Analytics (MMA), Master of Business Analytics (MBAN), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Arts (MA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA), is an asset.
  • You can demonstrate experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. You have hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments, and applying techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning.
  • You're technically strong. You bring experience with programming languages and modern analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Tableau, Databricks, Power BI, MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, and Amazon SageMaker. You also have strong knowledge of frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras.
  • You give meaning to data. You have experience building end-to-end analytics solutions using large and complex datasets, including requirements gathering, data extraction, data cleaning and transformation, statistical analysis, model development, deployment, presentation, and implementation. You have working knowledge of statistical techniques and advanced machine learning algorithms, including regression, time-series analysis, clustering, decision trees, ensemble methods, neural networks, gradient boosting, and dimensionality reduction.
  • You act like an owner. You independently identify business problems, analyze complex information, and recommend innovative, practical solutions. You're passionate about innovation and have a track record of translating artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into measurable business value, including value realization and return on investment measurement.
