Job description

EXPERIENCED Packaging Machine Operators
Rincon GA
Day shift 6am-6pmย  Rotating Days off
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
Drug and Criminal background screens are required
  • Starting pay -21/hr
  • Machine Operation Experience is needed
  • Current Resume is requiredย 
What will you be doing?
Will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery, ensuring products are packaged correctly and efficiently, and adhering to company policies and guidelines. This role involves operating and maintaining various packaging equipment, ensuring product quality and safety, and adhering to production schedules.ย 
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ขย ย  ย Operating Packaging Machines:
Setting up and operating various packaging machines, such as shrink-wrap machines or other automated packaging equipment, to prepare products for storage or shipment.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Quality Assurance:
Inspecting packaged products for defects, ensuring accurate weights and measurements, and maintaining a clean work area.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Material Handling:
Handling and moving materials, including finished products, to and from packaging machines.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Safety and Compliance:
Adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards for packaging operations.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Basic Maintenance:
Performing basic maintenance on packaging equipment.ย 
What is required?
โ€ขย ย  ย Standing for Long Periods: Operating packaging equipment often requires standing for extended periods.
Machine/ Production Operation experience
โ€ขย ย  ย Lifting: May need to lift up to 55 lbs.
โ€ขย ย  ย Other Physical Demands: Reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling may be required occasionally.ย
