PART TIME: 15-30 HOURS PER WEEK | WAGE: $14 PER HOUR | SHIFT EXAMPLES: 11AM-7PM; 1PM-9PM; 3PM-CLOSE

Join our Team!
We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our dishwashing team at Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Serving family-style chicken dinners to up to 4,000 guests each day means we have A LOT of dishes to clean. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Availability on Saturdays, Sundays, plus holidays is minimum requirement. At the present, scheduling needs also require 2+ days of weekday availability as well.
Job Tasks:
  • Pre-soak or scrape off food residue from dishes
  • Safely sort and stack dirty dishes.
  • Load dirty dishes into racks to be sent through the machine.
  • Operate dish machines, ensuring all dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Unload clean dishes and dish racks after running through the machine. Return sanitized items to their proper locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
  • Monitor and replenish dishwashing detergents and cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Inspect and ensure dishwashing equipment is functioning properly; report any maintenance issues.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately.
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Help with organizing and storing kitchen equipment and supplies.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents.
  • Perform end-of-shift cleaning tasks to ensure the dishwashing area is ready for the next shift.

Days & Shifts Scheduled?
Required Availability: x2 Weekdays plus Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays
Shift Examples: variety of 11am-7pm; 1pm-9pm; 3pm-Close (closing team usually leaves somewhere between 10pm & midnight)
Basic Requirements:
16+ years of ageAbility to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting of full glass racksAbility to remain in a standing position for extended periods, up to 8+ hoursAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment to ensure dishes are completed efficiently and support speed of service
