Job description

We are currently looking for a Lamination Machine Helper to work the following shift:Night Shift - 6 pm to 6:30 am; Rotating NightsThe Lam. Machine Helper position plays a key role in our mission to send our customers quality laminated products all the time, every time. We are a Certified ISO 9001-2016 & 13485 facility serving the Medical, Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical Industries. Our customers demand the highest level of quality to protect the health and safety of their patients in accordance with the FDA.The Lam Machine Helper is responsible for staging material, preparing written production paperwork, mixing batches of adhesives and coatings, loading and unloading of materials onto Lamination Machine, doing general housekeeping, acquiring materials for production runs and any other tasks to assist the Operator with the highest level of running machine time, while still producing a quality product in accordance with the customer's specifications. The helper reports to our Production Manager but will interact with all levels of the company, in order to make sure customer specifications are adhered to.Required:High School Diploma or GED preferredMust be at least 18 years of age or olderMust have 2+ yrs doing advanced Mechanical (i.e. taking cars, machines apart/set-up/change-overs, etc).1+ yrs of manufacturing/operator experience a PLUS but not requiredMust be able to stand/walk/sit for 12 hour shiftsMust be able to make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test)Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.Preferred:Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environmentPrevious lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required, WE WILL TRAIN
