Job description

We are currently looking for Lamination Machine Helpers to work the following shift:

  • Night Shift - 6 pm to 6:30 am; Week 1: M/T/F/Sat; Week 2: Sun/W/Th

The Lamination Helper at Technipaq is responsible for staging material, preparing written production paperwork, mixing batches of adhesives and coatings, loading and unloading of materials onto Lamination Machines, general housekeeping, acquiring materials for production runs and any other tasks to assist the Operator with the highest level of running machine time, while still producing a quality product in accordance with the customer's specifications. The helper position reports to our Production Supervisor but will interact with all levels of the company, in order to make sure customer specifications are adhered to.

Required:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and pass our pre-employment Reading and Ruler tests.
  • Must have 2+ years mechanical experience (personal or professional) such as machine set-up, machine change overs, machine troubleshooting, complex motor vehicle repair, etc. and/or experience with similar machinery (Lamination, Coating, Slitting, Press) is required.
  • Must be able to make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test)
  • Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.

Preferred:

  • Previous packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required, WE WILL TRAIN
