Job Description
A fastener manufacturing company in Hudson, Ohio, is seeking dependable Machine Operators to support its production operations. Available departments may include Mectron inspection, tapping, finishing, sorting, and quality inspection. Machine Operators will monitor equipment, inspect completed fasteners, and ensure products meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Operate Mectron inspection equipment, tapping machines, finishing equipment, or other production machinery
· Load parts and materials into machines while monitoring production cycles and equipment performance
· Inspect finished fasteners for defects, damage, proper dimensions, and overall quality
· Complete sorting, deburring, cleaning, finishing, and packaging duties as assigned
· Record production totals, inspection results, scrap, downtime, and equipment issues
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous machine operating, manufacturing, metalworking, or industrial production experience preferred
· Experience with Mectron inspection systems, tapping machines, or finishing equipment is a plus
· Ability to read work orders, follow written instructions, and perform basic math calculations
· Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools preferred
· Ability to stand throughout the shift, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
