Job description

MACHINE HELPER

Starting at $16.63/hr no experience necessary, $17.84 with experience, Full-time, 10pm to 6am, Sunday evening thru Friday morning with some overtime required when necessary, including weekends.

This is an entry-level hourly position with growth potential! You will be responsible for all activities associated with helping operators on your assigned machine. This includes setup, operation, clean-up, quality checks and recommending improvements to operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work at a fast-pace set by the machine operator in order to adhere to production schedule.
  • In accordance with proper techniques, assist in the set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine accurately.
  • Monitor board quality for any defects and report problems to the operator.
  • Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Willingness to move up the line of progression and cross-train on other machines.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintain good housekeeping.

Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.

May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
