Work Hours -Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Must pass re-employment physical and background
JOB STEP Helpers (includes helpers 36 months- helper 42 months) - Preferred minimum of 36 months documented field experience in chosen craft discipline. Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation. The level and degree of job responsibilities and requirements vary depending on months of experience and assigned job step. SUMMARY Fabricate covers/blankets for equipment as per site specifications. Work in groups but with individual work responsibilities also. RESPONSIBILTIES -uses sewing machine and/or hog ring guns to fabricate covers/blankets. -cuts various types of material from original bolt of material to prepare for sewing. -applies rivets and grommets and other types of fasteners as per client's specifications. -transports material needed for fabrication from storage area. -packs finished product in bundles or boxes and labels orders for delivery to customer. Stores items at ground level or on shelves. -reads order specifications and labels completed orders in writing or using computer. -utilizes basic math skills to perform sewing and cutting per specs. -capable of verbal or written communication with others regarding job tasks and work procedures. -follows safety regulations and specifications as outlined by company regarding handling of materials and operation of equipment.
