This is not a traditional SaaS product leadership role.

Vention's software platform sits at the intersection of industrial automation, robotics, developer tools, cloud software, embedded systems and Physical AI. Our products are tightly interconnected, with decisions in one part of the stack often creating significant implications elsewhere.

The VP Product will lead a team of Product Managers and UI/UX Designers across a broad portfolio including:

• MachineBuilder — 3D machine design and configuration
• MachineLogic — Robot programming and automation development
• Simulation — machine and robot simulation
• Robot Control — real-time control and orchestration
• Physical AI — AI-powered automation capabilities
• Web & eCommerce — digital purchasing and configuration experience
• RemoteSupport & RemoteView — remote machine support and operation
• MachineAnalytics — machine data, monitoring and intelligence

The mandate is simple: make Vention's software dramatically better while dramatically increasing the velocity at which we ship it.

You will bring product rigor and leadership to an organization where the CEO and CTO remain deeply involved in product direction. Your role is therefore not to simply "own the roadmap." It is to become the operating engine that translates strategic direction into an exceptional product vision, clear priorities and fast execution.

1. Set the Product Vision & Experience

• Define the long-term product vision across Vention's entire software platform.
• Establish a coherent product strategy spanning design, programming, simulation, robotics, AI, eCommerce and machine operations.
• Raise the bar for simplicity, usability and design quality across the platform, with an Apple-like obsession for product excellence.
• Establish product principles and UX standards that make a highly sophisticated technology stack feel simple and intuitive.
• Translate company-level strategic direction into a clear, differentiated product vision and roadmap.

2. Drive Product Velocity & Execution

• Dramatically accelerate the pace at which Vention turns ideas into shipped products.
• Establish a high-performance product operating cadence focused on fast decisions, clear accountability and measurable outcomes.
• Ruthlessly prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, strategic value and business outcomes.
• Remove organizational and process bottlenecks that slow product development.
• Build a culture where Product, Engineering and Design are accountable for shipping—not simply planning.

3. Orchestrate the Platform Roadmap

• Own prioritization across a highly integrated portfolio of software, firmware, robotics and Physical AI products.
• Manage dependencies and sequencing across MachineBuilder, MachineLogic, simulation, robot control, firmware, analytics, RemoteView, RemoteSupport and eCommerce.
• Balance customer-facing features, foundational technology investments, technical debt and emerging opportunities.
• Resolve competing priorities across product teams and make difficult trade-offs quickly.
• Ensure individual product roadmaps collectively move the Vention platform forward as one integrated system.

4. Lead Product, Design & Technical Product Management

• Lead, develop and scale a high-performing organization of Product Managers and UI/UX Designers.
• Raise the technical depth, product judgment and execution standards of the product organization.
• Partner closely with Engineering to make sound architectural and product trade-offs.
• Stay sufficiently technical to dive into architecture, APIs, code and system design when required.
• Develop product leaders who can operate independently while maintaining alignment with Vention's overall product strategy.

• Exceptional product leader with 12+ years of experience in product, software or technology leadership, including significant experience managing multiple product teams.
• Deep technical credibility with the ability to understand software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, embedded systems and technical trade-offs—and to go into the code when necessary.
• Broad platform experience managing complex, highly integrated products where decisions and dependencies span multiple teams and technology layers.
• Outstanding product taste with an instinct for simplicity, elegance, consistency and intuitive user experiences; a genuine obsession with design quality and product perfection.
• Proven execution track record with a bias toward action, demonstrated ability to accelerate roadmaps, make decisions quickly and consistently turn strategy into shipped products.
• Exceptional prioritization skills with the ability to make difficult trade-offs across competing customer needs, technical investments, product opportunities and business priorities.
• Strong systems thinker who can understand how individual products, technologies and teams fit together into a coherent platform and architecture.
• Customer- and business-oriented with the ability to balance customer value, strategic differentiation, revenue impact and long-term platform investments.
• Strong people leader who can attract, develop and inspire exceptional Product Managers and UI/UX Designers while raising the overall bar for product talent and accountability.
• Comfortable operating in a highly engaged leadership environment, able to partner effectively with the CEO, CTO and other leaders while bringing structure, clarity and independent judgment to product execution.
• Passion for robotics, AI and industrial technology, with genuine curiosity about how software, robotics, Physical AI and hardware can converge to transform automation.
• High ownership and low ego: intellectually rigorous, direct, pragmatic and willing to dive into the details when required to solve a problem.

La plateforme logicielle de Vention se situe à l'intersection de l'automatisation industrielle, de la robotique, des outils pour développeurs, des logiciels infonuagiques, des systèmes embarqués et de l'IA physique (Physical AI). Le ou la VP Produit dirigera une équipe de gestionnaires de produits et de designers UI/UX à travers un vaste portefeuille comprenant :

• MachineBuilder — Conception de machines en 3D et configuration
• MachineLogic — Programmation de robots et développement de l'automatisation
• Simulation — Simulation de machines et de robots
• Robot Control (Contrôle de robots) — Contrôle et orchestration en temps réel

• Web & eCommerce (Commerce électronique) — Expérience numérique d'achat et de configuration
• RemoteSupport & RemoteView — Soutien et exploitation de machines à distance

Le mandat est simple : rendre les logiciels de Vention considérablement meilleurs, tout en augmentant de façon draconienne la vitesse à laquelle nous les livrons (ship).

Vous apporterez de la rigueur et du leadership en matière de produit au sein d'une organisation où le PDG (CEO) et le Chef de la technologie (CTO) restent profondément impliqués dans l'orientation du produit. Votre rôle ne consistera donc pas simplement à « posséder la feuille de route » (roadmap). Il s'agira de devenir le moteur opérationnel qui traduit l'orientation stratégique en une vision de produit exceptionnelle, avec des priorités claires et une exécution rapide.

1. Définir la vision et l'expérience produit

• Définir la vision produit à long terme pour l'ensemble de la plateforme logicielle de Vention.
• Établir une stratégie de produit cohérente couvrant la conception, la programmation, la simulation, la robotique, l'IA, le commerce électronique et les opérations des machines.
• Rehausser la barre en matière de simplicité, de convivialité et de qualité de conception sur l'ensemble de la plateforme, avec une obsession de l'excellence produit digne d'Apple.
• Établir des principes de produit et des normes d'expérience utilisateur (UX) qui rendent une architecture technologique hautement sophistiquée simple et intuitive.
• Traduire l'orientation stratégique de l'entreprise en une vision et une feuille de route claires et différenciées.

2. Stimuler la vélocité et l'exécution du produit

• Accélérer de façon radicale le rythme auquel Vention transforme les idées en produits livrés.
• Mettre en place une cadence opérationnelle de produit hautement performante, axée sur des décisions rapides, une responsabilisation claire et des résultats mesurables.
• Prioriser les initiatives de façon impitoyable, en fonction de l'impact sur le client, de la valeur stratégique et des résultats d'affaires.
• Éliminer les goulots d'étranglement organisationnels et de processus qui ralentissent le développement de produits.
• Bâtir une culture où les équipes de Produit, d'Ingénierie et de Design sont imputables de la livraison — et pas seulement de la planification.

3. Orchestrer la feuille de route de la plateforme

• Gérer les priorités à travers un portefeuille hautement intégré de logiciels, de micrologiciels (firmware), de robotique et de produits d'IA physique.
• Gérer les dépendances et le séquencement entre MachineBuilder, MachineLogic, la simulation, le contrôle de robots, les micrologiciels, l'analytique, RemoteView, RemoteSupport et le commerce électronique.
• Trouver un équilibre entre les fonctionnalités orientées client, les investissements technologiques fondamentaux, la dette technique et les opportunités émergentes.
• Résoudre les conflits de priorités entre les équipes de produits et faire des compromis difficiles rapidement.
